My Story
Hi! I do not know how you came to know about Scentsy, but I can tell you that you will never be sorry that you did. My introduction to Scentsy came through my aunt, who is a Scentsy consultant. I purchased Scentsy for five (5) years before I considered becoming a Scentsy consultant.
You may ask why I broached the idea of selling Scentsy. I am single without children, so I am taxed in a higher tax bracket. I was looking for a home-based business to help alleviate some of the tax burden. I joined Scentsy in March 2016 and I have not looked back.
You may ask with my corporate travel and demanding job how I manage my Scentsy business. That's just it! It's my business and I decide how to run it. I do not do a lot of parties, my decision. I run my business primarily from my website and cellphone (i.e., text messages/parties, Facebook and Instagram). I mail out samples and I let my contacts make their own decision. You see, Scentsy sells itself. Get the product in front of your potential/current customers and the product does the rest.
In addition, to the tax benefits, I have grown as an individual, I am more outgoing and able to talk to anybody. The skills I utilize in my Scentsy business have helped me to improve in my role as a IT Director. I have met new friends and I'm constantly learning. I have gone to different Scentsy events and the motivation and growth mindset is astonishing.
Now, don't think I did this and I don't expect to earn an income. Come on, you should know better! I like the fact that I can set a goal and create a plan to generate the income. Here's the thing this opportunity puts you in the driver seat! You will get out of this opportunity what you put into it.
